This truck is a real off-road machine.  This 2-door model with our new paint and liner package is truly an incredible combination of rugged durability, military simplicity, mixed with a little custom good looks.  It looks black, but the actual paint color is charcoal.  For the enthusiast, this humvee has the looks of a Hummer, but the agility and testosterone of the original truck.  It is one of several that we have customized to improve on the original military design, fixing the few flaws and making improvements where we see fit.  We have not tried to turn it into a hummer, because it is better than a hummer.  It weighs +-2,000 pounds less, it has the superior 24 volt electrical system, and it features our new lockable toolbox for this particular configuration.  This option comes in very handy because, even though it’s a convertible, you still have a place you can lock up your tools and your beer. The engine is a custom 250 hp 6.5 liter naturally aspirated GM diesel built by our friends at Diesel Depot in Sandersville GA.  It has a newly rebuilt GM 700R transmission with overdrive so it is still EMP proof.  This truck is very fast for a humvee.  Truck also features Hummer H1 civilian style doors, which are rare on a Humvee.    The engine has been replaced with a 6.5 diesel, which has a full year warranty.  All components are sealed to enable the truck to ford a stream up to 5 feet deep.  The deep fording kit enables the drivetrain to be pressurized with the flip of a switch to keep water from contaminating fluids when the truck is submerged.  The entire electrical system is also sealed to prevent water contamination.  These options are not even available on a Hummer.  Snorkel attatchment is shown, and extended exhaust can easily be added.  Truck has 37”  Cooper ProComp Xterrain radials.  Electrical system is 24 volt, and does include a 24 volt, 9,000 lb WARN winch with a heavy-duty brushguard.  *Brushguard was actually custom made by someone in the military whose identity is unknown to us.  Of the trucks we purchased from the marines, one showed up with this brushguard which we have never run across before.  It’s really cool.
