2005 Humvee HMMWV USMC M1097A2. This Humvee runs well and was inspected recently by mechanic. It has new glow plugs, Transmission fluid, Keyed fuel cutoff switch for added security and two new Optima Red Top Batteries, Vehicle odometer shows 1,468 miles (Note: military replaces parts as needed when in active service so there is no way of knowing for sure) VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION TAG INFO: TRUCK, UTILITY, HEAVY VARIENT 10300 GVW, 4X4, W/E M1097A2
This isn’t the lighter duty M998. This is the heavy variant with higher payload capacity. Vehicle is in condition that one would expect of a prior USMC Humvee. Prior Turret was removed before being released to civilian auction. The turret hole has been caped, as can be seen in photos. Soft camo doors need plastic window and zippers repaired / replaced. I am the first civilian owner of this prior military vehicle. This truck is ready to be transformed or further restored or customized to its next owners vision.
