Cushman 53 Military Scooter. 1944
Up for auction is a model 53 Cushman Airborne Scooter. THIS IS NOT A 53A It is about 90% restored. The motor is not an 17M71 but an 18. It fits perfectly and does not detract from the over all unit. The air filter is also incorrect as originals are very difficult to come by. The clutch and running gear are correct. Serial number is listed as is the one on the frame. The tag is a reproduction. She runs but has not been run in a year. I have dubbed her “Sparky” as the first time she started she shocked the you know what out of me. The tires are reproductions and correct for the front and rear of the scooter. Over all, this is a great scooter and I hate to part with it but have other projects to take care of. Shipping should be very easy with a bike hauler or other means. I accept PayPal as well as other forms of secured payment. I can invoice you as well. (Hint… the reserve is low)
