Fully restored SdKfz 251/7 Ausf. D “Pionierpanzerwagen” half-track with original 4170 cc, 6 cylinder Maybach HL 42 TUKRM engine. The SdKfz 251 was designed by the Hanomag company based on its earlier, unarmored Sd.Kfz. 11 vehicle, and were commonly referred to as “Hanomags” by both German and Allied soldiers.  There were four main model modifications (A through D), which formed the basis for at least 22 variants. The rare 251/7 variant was known as an assault engineer vehicle, and included fittings to carry assault bridge ramps on the sides.  The vehicle is in excellent condition and has been kept in a garage for the last few years in Prague, Czech Republic. This beauty is one of a handful of 251/7 variants known to exist – others can be found in the German Tank Museum (Germany), Overlord Museum (France) and the Wheatcroft private collection (UK).
