Renault FT Light Tank Replica built from 3/8 steel plate with some areas doubled up to 3/4 plate. All hydraulic drive with a F134 engine that’s been rebuilt. Running and driving, it steers very well and the engine has been running cool. Pink sheet in-hand for the machining done to the engine. The suspension is just like that of the original. Check out my YouTube for recent footage of the tank in action: https://youtu.be/uHvSrxMIsGc?si=uvJPC8ckhBAjVUdH Charlyn 4000 series hydraulic motors with a 30 gallon hydraulic tank. Fuel tank is 5 gallons. The tank is about 10,000lbs or 5 tons (according to the last shipping company that moved it for a recent event.) The Renault FT is arguably the best Tank of WW1 and was used by many countries including the US by the American Expeditionary Force. This replica is 1:1 scale and measurements were taken off a genuine FT Tank. Here is an article by Newsweek of the Tank and myself on the build process https://www.newsweek.com/california-man-spends-1400-hours-building-world-war-i-tank-1870698 If you are interested feel free to message me to rent or own.
