The truck runs great! Body is very clean with virtually no surface rust. Interior is in very good condition.
This MTV was purchased from Midwest Military Equipment in October 2022. My plan was to convert it to an off-road go anywhere camper but the project was a bit to big for me to take on.
Midwest Military Equipment purchases these vehicles as military surplus and then services them mechanically from top to bottom replacing any needed parts. Go to their site and do your research. I can provide documentation that I purchased the truck from MME.
There is a minor oil leak at the Hydraulic Fluid Restrictor for the spare tire. Assuming it needs to have seals replaced. Also, MME does not work on the central tire inflation system (CTIS) because this system can be a bit finicky. Therefore, I am not sure if the CTIS system works. Have not tested.
Clean clear on road use title available. Registered in Montana with Montana plates.
395/85R20 Goodyear Super Singles. Very little tread wear.
Vehicle is in Rolling Hills Estates, California and is available for personal inspection.
Overall, very nice example of an M1088!
