1980/86 TAM 110
2.5 ton, Diesel, military truck RARE!!!! RARE!!!! This is the ONLY example of this current generation military vehicle in North America.
Vehicle runs and drive well, I have had the pleasure of owning it for the past 10 years. There are not any other TAMs at all here in this part of the world. Even in Europe, they are hard to get as they are still in use by the military.
When driving, you will have to get used to every other vehicle pulling up and snapping photos and giving a “thumbs up”!!! Low hours and miles. Would make a great expedition vehicle! Trail or mud vehicle. Makes a Unimog or Pinzgauer look like toys.
Check out TAM 110 videos from overseas (Libya, Yugoslavia, etc) on You-Tube! These things are really awesome trucks!
This is not a high speed highway cruiser but will maintain 55 mph. It makes just about all other 4×4 vehicles look small, yet still fits in my standard garage (with the windshield folded down) without any problem.
