1974 UAZ-Based Custom Build | UAZ Hunter Body | Turbo Diesel
This one-of-a-kind UAZ build is located in the United States. It was completed approximately two years ago using the base of the vehicle identified on its Florida title and components from a UAZ Hunter. The title lists the vehicle as a 1974 AMER, with UAZ shown under “Primary Brand.”
The build included a new UAZ Hunter body and interior, a factory UAZ 2.5-liter turbo diesel engine rated at 135 horsepower, a six-speed manual transmission, and new axles. It has two 20-liter fuel tanks. The vehicle’s measured weight is approximately 3,395 pounds (1,540 kg).
The odometer currently shows approximately 700 kilometers (435 miles). The vehicle is in excellent, near-new condition. It runs and drives and is ready to go.
This distinctive build would make a great addition to a collection. It is also well suited to hunting, fishing, and off-road travel. The UAZ-469 began production in Ulyanovsk in 1972, and its design lineage continued through the UAZ Hunter.
This is a rebuilt, modified vehicle, not an original, unrestored 1974 UAZ. Inspections are welcome.
