August 1953 M38A1 military jeep. Excellent candidate for a quick restoration. Has the early production features – 8-point battery box cover, hinged grille, early fenders. Very complete, and body is in great shape. Doesn’t run, but engine full of oil, turns freely. I hooked up a 12v battery and the starter turns the engine over. Has the original style Carter YS carburetor. I opened up the transmission and it is full of oil and only has a little surface rust.
