Engine coolant fed dual heater system keeps passengers comfortable in cold weather. This truck has the 3 liter inline six, commonly found in the Volvo 164 with dual Stromberg carburetors, rated at 117hp. The ZF transmission has 8 forward speeds, 4 high and 4 low and 2 reverse speeds. During normal operation in high gear the truck’s rear axle are driven, in low gear or when activated separately, it is driven on all wheels. Each axle has a vacuum actuated diff-lock that can be engaged on the go. Portal axle ends behind each wheel gives this truck excellent ground clearance.
