You are looking at an excellent condition 2.5 ton LMTV – Light Medium Tactical Vehicle made by Stewart & Stevenson for the US military. This truck is a rare “diamond” of surplus military vehicles as it was fully rebuilt in 2010 by BAE systems before release from service. Low miles, known last service station, and 100% functional. It’s truly the best from Uncle Sam’s toybox.
2010 BAE SYSTEMS COMPLETE OVERHAUL
This LMTV starts instantly, drives strong, and everything works. Everything from the engine to the tires were rebuilt and tagged to show the work done. CTIS (tire inflation system), doors, full LED lights, and cab hydraulic systems are all functional.
This truck was assigned to the 912th Medical Company at Fort Dix during its last duty station and has papers to show. It was phased out of service and transferred to the State of Texas under a state program. It was selected due to the condition but ultimately not utilized for the program and released to the public. This is not an auction truck, but a hand picked vehicle.
