purchased from GovPlanet last January. ( see the before pictures) tons of work and parts added to make it road-worthy.
A lot of love, blood, and sweat went into getting this dream moving. it was well worth it. this truck runs and drives like a champ. Ready for the apocalypse. LOL. If you want something nice and ready to drive then, this truck is it. I was a bit unlucky with this one. you can see from the list of new parts. the oil pan leak was the worst of the issues. adding a new pan took care of that.
Transmission was another issue. adding the aftermarket TCM was the best thing to do. Putting in all new solenoids is just me being a believer in Murphy’s law. Seriously, jump in and drive it home. if you are currently looking around for a HMMWV you know what the going prices are. there are many out there that do not have half of the features that mine does and are asking way too much. I also believe that this truck looks great outside and inside. very clean.
