A very nice clean unabused 1987 AM General M998 6.2L with 3L80 3 speed. Lots of extras for its year. Was in process of finishing it into a correct historically accurate M1045/M1025 gun truck when I got busy. Special Forces GMV Slantback Roof with grab handles and 100% original and functional Turret, (other slant back parts are Supplemental Armor) Supplemental Armor Hard doors, complete supplemental armor i engine compartment, supplemental armor upper and lower hood grills (This sullplimental armor was the highest level of armor amiable on these trucks unit the late 1990s) complete and functional deep water fording kit, colander starts with MOLLY seat covers, Rinio Tire carrier, Airline rear bumper with proper shackles and supports, Pioneer tool rack and tools, Chicken plate on Turret, Front Brush guard, correct fire extinguisher and first aid kit, LED headlights, upgraded instrument lights, upgraded 3 point seat belts front and rear, fuel gage access panel.
For the asking price I will include a complete set of interior supplemental armor panels wit hall the correct hardware and sound damper, Front and rear M16 storage racks with most of the hardware for install, gunners platform with hardware, Ammo can rack s and straps, water can implants, wooden floor trim and screws, 200 amp alternator and kit to install, 2 sets of snow chains for 4 wheels, military radios with antenna and cables (correct for 87 era truck I was told they work but never tested them) 4 extra tires and wheels, sponson cargo nets, NVG weapons site case, 4 man cargo divider with mounts and hardware, jack and lug wrench with proper carry bag, 1 extra windshield glass, new front drive shafts, (rear is already new and installed) extra start box, set of glow plugs and tool, all the above items with factory cores hardware, the truck is mostly complete except for the 50BMG storage rack and a few other small things.
The truck has been through the military overhaul program at some point(stenciled on the engine) and with the tags in driver door area. Since I have owned it I have completely gone through it. All fluids changed, hubs inspected, new belts and hoses, new alternator, new engine wiring harness, new hood wiring harness, radiator hot tanked and pressure tested, all grounds cleaned, All the work that I did on this truck was done as if I planned on keeping it long term (which I did at the time) Gages and everything works starts right up but does have a slight drip from the heater core (210 part that just don’t feel like changing) the silage on the truck is probably a more accurate description of a truck this age rather than a low 5000 miles as the military often swapped out speedometers ( currently show app 58k)
